Can you help us keep our town looking wonderful throughout the Summer? For 2021 we have even bigger and better plans in place to make Kingsbridge the floral capital of the South Hams but our plants and flowers will need your help! Could you, or someone you know, spend an hour or two a week walking round parts of town, using our electrically driven bowsers, watering some our many displays? We provide full training and a hi-vis jacket and if you are around during our weekly working parties, coffee and cake are usually on offer.

KIB Needs You!
How about doing a spot of watering around the town with our new motorised water bowser and keep our thirsty plants alive and flourishing!
TEMPTED? Why not contact our Watering Co-ordinator, Graham Price.
He will be happy to talk to you about how you can help.

TYPICAL AREAS THAT NEED WATERING
Pyramid outside of Peacocks / Trough outside of Peacocks / Taxi rank tub
Display bed by the roundabout; this can be accessed by standing on the bed on the taxi rank side.
Pyramid outside of Hello Kingsbridge / Tubs outside the toilets
9 Embankment boxes along the pavement south of Wills Marine
If very dry the concrete turret beds on the Embankment grassed area and the Schooner would benefit from a drink.
Watering will be done by the work party on a Wednesday, so if wet one other water in the week should be sufficient. if we have a dry week two extra waters might be necessary.
Could you please let me know if you encounter any problems on the round or any areas that particularly need attention.
John Kinch asks us to remove the lances after watering and put them back in the clips on the shelves to prevent them being bent in the garage.
