Events Diary - 2019

After a very successful 2018, I believe that working together as a fully integrated  team we can achieve a great result for the town again for our 2019. Champion of Champions National Finals. 'No pressure then!
Thank you all for your great support this year.
Ideas are in place for next year and we will be concentrating on celebrating the fantastic wildlife in Devon as well as celebrating 800 years since Kingsbridge received the Royal Charter and replenishing some of our beds along the Embankment with new plants.
I have already been in touch with both the  lady who will be making a willow arch to be located on our main display and our metal worker who will make the reinforcement for the structure.
This will help give something extra and unique to our displays which is what the judges like to see rather than just run of the mill planting. A good example of the what made our displays different last year was the integration of the excellent  planting with our pictures depicting the town 100 years ago which were fantastic and well received by everyone. These will still feature in next year's displays with some new pictures.
